CONNACHT JUNIOR LEAGUE CHAMPIONS
Congrats & well done to Bladie & the boys who secured the league title for another year on Sunday.
For the seventh time in the last ten years, Monivea are Connacht Junior League champions. The incredible run began in 2003 with a league final victory over Buccaneers and has been interrupted just three, by Westport in 2006 and Sligo last season and Corinthians in 2009.
They secured the title today d...espite not winning for the first time this season at any level. The 9-9 home draw with OLBC was a surprise result but no more than the visiting Galway city side deserved after a battling defensive display.
So with two weeks to go till the ALL IRELAND Semi Final we wish the lads all the best in their preperations & lets get spreading the word SAT 4TH FEB 2.30PM IN MONIVEA v Colerine.C'MON MONA!!!!

On behalf of Monivea Rugby Club i would like to wish Caolin Blade all the very best for tomorrows u18 irish game.I know that everyone involved with the club is very proud of Caolin and it will be a very special day for his family and Monivea RFC when he runs onto the pitch wearing the green jersey of Ireland!So from the committee of M.R.F.C and everyone else in the club i would like to wish Caolin the very best of luck.

Sun 5th Feb Ireland v Wales 3pm Sat 25th Feb Ireland v Italy 1pm Sat 10th Mar Ireland v Scotland 5pm Under new IRFU TICKETING POLICIES the club must have all requests for tickets in and PAID FOR 6 WEEKS PRIOR TO ALL GAMES.Therefor the following are the club deadlines for ticket requests & payment(requests may be made at any time before these dates but must be paid for by the deadline dates)
